  • You can expect a supportive, welcoming environment focused on connection, practical tools, nervous system regulation, and healing through nature-based experiences.

The day typically includes guided teaching, group connection, outdoor activities, food and refreshments, and reflective experiences like a fire ceremony.

You’ll leave with practical tools you can use in everyday life, along with the reminder that you are not alone.

  • Not at all.

You are welcome to share as much or as little as feels comfortable to you. There is no pressure to speak or participate beyond your comfort level. This retreat is designed to feel safe, supportive, and non-judgmental.

  • This retreat combines evidence-based approaches with lived experience.

Joanne and Melissa have personally walked through the challenges of loving someone struggling with substance use, and the retreat was created from the tools and strategies that helped them navigate that journey differently.

  • No. This is not clinical therapy or addiction treatment.

This retreat offers therapeutic support for women navigating a loved one’s substance use, rooted in lived experience, evidence-based tools, skill-building, and connection. Family Clarity Sessions

  • A Clarity Session is a one-time, 3-hour intensive where we dive deep into your situation and create a personalized plan. Ongoing coaching is long-term support with regular calls and check-ins.

  • If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or in need of immediate direction but aren’t ready to commit to ongoing coaching, this is perfect. It gives you breakthrough guidance and a clear action plan to take forward.

  • Both are effective, it really depends on your preference and location. Many people find Zoom sessions just as impactful because they can join from the comfort of home.

  • You’ll receive a personalized plan and we’ll schedule one follow-up call to check in, answer questions, and adjust as needed. If you’d like more support, you can always transition into ongoing coaching.

1:1 Family Recovery Coaching

  • Group support gives you community and shared experiences, while 1:1 coaching is personalized just for you. It’s a safe, private space where we focus on your unique needs and challenges.

  • We’ll connect twice a week for coaching calls, and in between, you’ll have access to me via Voxer (a voice and text messaging app). This gives you ongoing support whenever you need it most.

  • Calls are flexible and scheduled around your life. And since sessions are online, you can join from anywhere, even during a lunch break or quiet moment in your day.

  • It depends on your needs. Some clients work with me for a few months until they feel confident, while others choose longer-term support as they continue navigating new challenges.
